Our Story
Happy Cards Exchange was created out of my love for exchanging mail and postcards. I have always enjoyed the excitement of receiving a handwritten note, discovering someone else’s personality, and sharing small pieces of creativity and kindness through the mail. The joy that comes from a simple card or letter is something truly special, and I wanted to create a space where anyone could experience that same connection with others.
Over time, I realized that many existing websites focus only on postcards, which is wonderful, but I wanted to expand the idea. This site is dedicated to exchanging all kinds of mail, including letters, holiday cards, and postcards. The goal is to make it easy for people to connect, share stories, celebrate holidays, and spread joy in their own unique way. Whether it’s a short note, a fun doodle, or a heartfelt letter, every piece of mail has the power to make someone’s day brighter.
Happy Cards Exchange aims to bring people together across the world, foster creativity, and create a welcoming environment where users can exchange mail without limits. Our hope is that every card sent and received becomes a small connection, a tiny moment of happiness, and a reminder that thoughtful communication can make a meaningful difference.
Rules
- Send and receive cards only through HCE assigned exchanges unless mutually agreed with another user.
- Always include your Card ID and return address on every card.
- Do not exchange personal contact information outside the platform unless mutually agreed.
- Do not send hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content. Keep all exchanges respectful.
- Users cannot be assigned the same person twice in a row.
- Follow all card registration and notification procedures in the dashboard.
- Only share what you are comfortable with others knowing. Privacy is not guaranteed.
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
By creating an account on Happy Cards Exchange (HCE), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the site.
1. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account login and password secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating and updating your profile.
2. Privacy and Information Sharing
Only share information you are comfortable with others knowing. The creator of HCE makes no guarantees regarding the privacy, confidentiality, or security of your personal information. Other users may see your name, mailing address, about info, preferences, pronouns, languages, and social links once assigned for card exchanges.
3. Card Exchanges
You agree to send and receive cards only through HCE’s assigned exchanges, unless you and another user mutually agree to exchange cards outside of the platform. Always include your Card ID and return address on cards.
4. Content
You may post cards, messages, or images as part of your exchanges. Content must not be hateful, discriminatory, illegal, or harmful to others. HCE is not responsible for user-generated content.
5. Liability
By using HCE, you agree that the creator is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage of cards in transit
- Any unauthorized access to user information
- Disputes between users
You use the service at your own risk.
6. Modifications
HCE may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes agreement to the new terms.
7. Acknowledgment
By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, agree to comply with them, and understand the limitations of privacy and liability on this platform.
